'30 Rock' Star Tina Fey Signs Book Deal
Emmy award winner Tina Fey has signed a deal to write a book of humorous essays.
Famous for her role in the show 30 Rock and for her impersonation of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, Fey has prompted a bidding rage with book publishers, who were reportedly offering $6 million.
Now, two publishing officials have revealed that Fey, 38, has signed a book deal with Little, Brown and Company, the Associated Press reports.
However, the unidentified officials did not disclose the financial details involved due to the confidentiality of negotiations. The deal was first reported by the New York Observer.
Heather Rizzo, a representative for Little, Brown and Company declined to issue a comment.
Fey’s writing credits include 30 Rock, Saturday Night Live, and Mean Girls.
