‘Twilight’ 2 Already Being Planned

Twilight, the hottest vampire movie to date, is yet to hit theaters, but Summit Entertainment is already considering angles to create a franchise.

The new movie is the latest big screen version based on the wildly popular novel by Stephanie Meyer. The indie studio outfit has already obtained the right to film the next three novels titled New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn.

Twilight revolves around a modern day love affair between a vampire and a human. In the movie, Kristen Stewart plays Bella Swan, a girl who doesn’t care about fitting in with the fashionable Phoenix high school girls, and Edward Cullen (played by Robert Pattinson), who meets Swan at her new school in Washington.

He decides Swan is the soul mate he has waited 90 years to find. But the closer they get, the more Cullen struggles to fight back the primal appeal of her scent, which then sends him into an uncontrollable rage.

Twilight hits theaters December 19.
