Sean Connery Reportedly Wants Son Jason to Inherit Zip

Former James Bond has vowed his only son would never get anything from his
fortune pegged to be around $170 million.
According to UK’s The Daily Mail, ex-wife Diane Cilento said that the older
Connery told his 45-year-old son Jason, best known for his role in the 1985
series Robin of Sherwood, that he should “pursue a career and earn his living,
rather than sponging off his father.”
But Cilento, who was married to Connery for 11 years until they divorced in
1973, claimed that the two had a “difficult relationship.”
At one time, Jason, who presently works as an actor and movie director,
threatened to have his name changed following Sean’s accusations that he was
“cashing in on his father’s fame.”
Caliento told the Sunday Times that "‘Sean said, “You only got this
(acting) job because your name’s Connery.” ‘Jason said, “Well, I’ll
change it to something else.” Sean said, “If you do that I’ll f****** kill
you.”
The ex-wife also said, “Jason loves him but Sean has a problem about
relationships, as everybody round him knows. Jason is a very devoted son - when
Sean is sick he rushes there. They play golf together.”
The younger Connery, who recently wrapped up filming for his second film
starring Cuba Gooding Jr and Ray Winstone, declined to comment on the
revelations made by his mother.
Sean, who’s currently residing in the Bahamas, also refused to disclose if
Jason will become heir to his fortune.
