Phil Collins Tops Paul McCartney’s Divorce Payout

Former Genesis frontman Phil Collins’ divorce settlement has topped ex-Beatle Paul McCartney’s payout to Heather Mills – making the former’s payment Britain’s biggest ever in a celebrity divorce.
After calling it quits with the rocker after six years of marriage and two children, Orianne Cevey, 35, has earned a $46.76 million cash payout from Collins, 57.
According to Britain’s Daily Mirror, the settlement has set a new record after it surpassed the $45.37 million McCartney paid to Mills in the early part of this year.
Collins, who’s no stranger to high-priced separations, paid $34 million to second wife Jill Tavelman in 1994 after faxing her that he wanted to end their union.
The Daily Telegraph puts his divorce expenses at $84 million, almost a third of his estimated fortune pegged at $280 million.
Meanwhile, Collins is said to be seeing U.S. TV newscaster Dana Tyler.
