CNN anchor and personality Richard Quest, 46, was arrested Friday at around 3:40
am in Central Park for possession of methamphetamine.  The reporter and a male
companion were initially stopped by the police for violating the park’s
curfew. Central Park is usually close to the public from 1 am to 6 am.
After the officers cited the curfew violations, Quest admitted: "I've got some
meth in my pocket."
But aside from the drugs in his pocket, law enforcement sources also said that
Quest had “a rope around his neck that was tied to his genitals” and “a
sex toy in his boot.”
Quest was charged with loitering and criminal possession for a controlled
substance. The charges were dropped when he agreed to six months of drug
counseling.
Quest is best known for his work as CNN’s business travel specialist. CNN has
yet to comment on the reporter’s arrest.
