Disney Strips Barenaked Ladies

For kid-friendly Disney, drugs are a major no-no. Rock and roll is cool, but cocaine is a whole different story.

Signed on to perform as part of the line-up of Disney’s Music Block Party tour, the Barenaked Ladies have decided to back out, E! News reports. The reason: the recent arrest and cocaine charge of guitarist Steven Page.

"Members of the band completely support Steven Page, but we don't want to put Disney in an awkward position before issues involving Steven's arrest are resolved," the Barenaked Ladies’ manager said.

The 38-year-old rocker was arrested in New York a few weeks back. He has pled not guilty.
