Fielder-Civil and Winehouse have been married for just over 14 months. Now they
are going to live apart for 27.
For trial-fixing and beating up a pub landlord, Blake Fielder-Civil is
sentenced to 27 months behind bars, OK! Magazine reports. The Grammy winning
Winehouse was not present when the court handed down the sentence.
The 26-year-old entered a plea of guilty to charges of grave bodily harm and of
attempting to sway the court of justice in his favor by offering $400,000 in
exchange.
In a last ditch effort at liberty, Fielder-Civil’s lawyer pled for community
service instead of jail time. But Judge David Radford was adamant, ordering for
incarceration for Fielder-Civil’s "gratuitous, cowardly and disgraceful”
behavior.
