Family of Emilio Diaz Urges Mourners to Give Donations than Flowers

Friends and family of Emilio Diaz urges mourners to give donations to two non-profit organizations instead of sending flowers.

Famiies and relatives of Emilio Diaz, the father of Cameron Diaz who suddenly passed away because of pneumonia, contacted Access Hollywood and urged people to donate their contributions to 2 charitable organizations instead of giving flowers.

A representative of the actress suggested mourners to give donations to Reefcheck.org and to Surfrider.org in the name of Emilio Diaz. Both are non-profit organizations that are wokring on the preservation of marine life and the ocean.  

Emilio Diaz resides in California and is of Cuban and American descent. He has been married to his wife, Billie, for 40 years and is working as a foreman of an oil company. He had played a bit role in Cameron's There's Something about Mary, though. He was 58 when he died.
