Patrick Swayze has reportedly been offered to do a follow-up to the 1987 hit film Dirty Dancing.

Reports say that the actor, who’s back at work after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, is thinking about reprising the role responsible for catapulting him to worldwide fame.

British publication Metro reports, "It's great news that Patrick is so well and there are lots of offers for him. Everyone wants him to star in a Dirty Dancing sequel. It's just a matter of him making his mind up."

Swayze stars in the new FBI-inspired TV series entitled The Beast, wherein he plays an “unorthodox FBI veteran” who works undercover while training a detective.

The 55-year-old actor has continued beating the odds by getting stronger each day in spite of being told in January that he had weeks to live.

He is following a fruit and vegetable-packed regimen that consists of daily servings of ginger smoothies. Swayze has also been reportedly undertaking pioneering Cyberknife radiotherapy at an LA medical center.
