Celebritista: Kate Moss: Modelling Can Be ‘Brain damaging’ Kate Moss: Modelling Can Be ‘Brain damaging’ ================================================================================ nyles on 18 July, 2008 03:18:00 Runway queen and style icon Kate Moss has said she wants to quit the “brain-damaging” modelling career. The British beauty stated, "Modelling can be a bit brain damaging." So she now wants a new challenge. Thinking that she had outgrown the catwalk, Moss said she wants to take up full-time designing and concentrate on her fashion range for British high street chain Topshop, where she launched her first collection in May of last year. The 34-year-old catwalker said, "Starting my own brand was what I needed to do. I only model if there are such good jobs that you don't want to say no to. All that dressing up makes me say, 'What do I want to wear?' and, 'What do I want to do with Topshop?' It all kind of leads into the other things." Moss also confesses she still acts like a teenager, even though she already has a five-year-old daughter, Lila Grace, from her ex-husband, magazine publisher Jefferson Hack. In an interview with US magazine Vogue, she states, "I am still acting like a seventeen-year-old. I definitely haven't become middle-aged. I've got a house and a daughter and all that, but I still like to have fun. Even in my business we still have fun." She adds, “I like making money. But I don't call people up every day to see how much I've made. As long as I have what I need at the time. I am not completely money-orientated." She also reveals she is "saving up for a private jet" so she could easily travel around the world to launch her newest Topshop collection. She tells Vogue she plans to call the plane “the Kate Express." Moss has been gracing catwalks for more than 20 years after she was discovered by Sarah Doukas, founder of Storm Model Management, in 1988 at JFK AirportNew York City.
